These are a wonderful way of socialising your new pet in a safe and playful environment and are fun for both you and your four-legged friend.
The first 16 weeks of a puppy’s life are known as the “Human Socialisation Period.” This is the time when you really need to introduce your puppy to as many things as possible. Learning at this age is permanent so this is the perfect time to start training.
This is also the ideal time to introduce the puppy to things that will play an important part in his/her life. The puppy should be handled gently and positively by different people, especially children.
Puppy parties are held at our main hospital in Buckhurst Hill. Largely informal, they are hosted by one of our qualified veterinary nurses and cover a range of topics including flea and worm prevention, diet, travel, socialisation, toilet training, lead/harness training, and neutering.
